Retesting Rules
The last week of each six weeks, students will have the opportunity to retest to increase his/her grade. One retest will be offered per six weeks and all information covered in the six weeks will be tested. The student’s lowest original test score will be averaged with the retest score to determine the new grade. ONLY if the student has FAILED both tests in the six weeks will the retest score be averaged with more than one test. If the student scores lower on the retest, then the original score will be recorded and will not be averaged with the retest score.
NOTE: Students who fail to maintain a six weeks average of 70 or above will be placed in an academic chemistry classroom.
